The New York Yankees are officially in the post-season thanks to a big wild-card win against the Minnesota Twins Tuesday night. The Yankees now advance to the best of five American League Division Series against the Cleveland Indians starting Thursday. Yankees 8, Twins 4.

The NBA All-Star game will no longer be a meaningless battle between the East vs West conferences. The new format will feature the highest vote-getter from each conference acting as captain and choosing their team from the other players selected as all-stars. The game will still be meaningless, but the NBA is hoping the new format will provide more entertainment. After all, who wouldn’t want to see the possibility of LeBron James playing on the same team as Steph Curry!
