Houston’s James Harden and Golden State’s Stephen Curry both suffered minor injuries in game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals where the Warriors jumped to a 2-0 lead. Harden left in the first quarter after getting hit in both of his eyes, resulting in a laceration in his left eye. Harden returned in the second quarter and contributed 29 points, but it wasn’t enough for the win. Curry also left the game for a few minutes after he dislocated his finger in the first quarter. Kyrie Irving had a rough night with the Boston Celtics as the Milwaukee Bucks took game 2 to even the East Conference Semifinals. Kyrie only had 9 points, which marks his second playoff game with fewer than 10 points. Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo helped his team with a game-high 29 points and 10 rebounds. ESPN announced the end of the print edition of ESPN The Magazine. In the official statement describing the change, ESPN said, “Consumer habits are evolving rapidly, and this requires ESPN to evolve as well. The only change here is that we are moving away from printing it on paper and sending it in the mail.” ESPN The Magazine had a 21-year run, but Sports Business Journal announced the Magazine has recently been losing money for the company.
