Warriors Sweep Spurs And Head To Finals, Ginobili May Retire

With their sweep of the San Antonio Spurs, the Golden State Warriors are back in the NBA Finals. They are the first team in NBA history to start the finals with a 12-0 winning streak. The Warriors will be playing in their 3rd straight Championship and will have nine days off to get healthy and rested before taking on either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Boston Celtics (Cavs up 2-1 in series). Warriors 129, Spurs 115.

After the game, the Spurs Manu Ginobili received a standing ovation on his way out. He turns 40 this summer and hasn’t announced yet if he’ll be retiring, but many believe this was his last game.
