Cavs And Rockets Big Wins, Brandon Marshall’s Thinks Kaep Blackballed By NFL

BASKETBALL

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were flying through the air, making passes and entertaining the fans during the 2nd round matchup against the Toronto Raptors Monday night. LeBron scored 35 points and Irving added 24 for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference semi-final. Clearly the rest after their sweep in the first round paid off. Cavaliers  116, Raptors 105.

In the Western conference semi-final, the Houston Rockets embarrassed the San Antonio Spurs with a huge win where the Spurs never pulled close. With 22 3-pointers by the Rockets, the Spurs didn’t have a chance. Rockets 126, Spurs 99.

FOOTBALL

Denver Broncos’ linebacker Brandon Marshall claims former SF quarterback Colin Kaepernick hasn’t been picked up by any NFL team because he’s been blackballed by the NFL for kneeling during the National Anthem and starting a protest movement in the league.  Marshall said, “Quarterbacks are usually the face of the franchise. So, he’s probably being blackballed. Maybe part of it is owners don’t want their franchise tagged with that. But I still stand by what I said (on Twitter), that he’s the best quarterback in free agency. He’s better than all of those that got signed, the Matt Barkleys, the Nick Foleses. I think that’s a fair assessment, honestly.”
