Tiger Woods was arrested over the weekend for driving under the influence, but claims alcohol wasn’t involved. He said, “I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions. I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.” Tiger has had 4 back surgeries since 2014, with the most recent surgery on April 19th.

Frank Deford, the legendary Sports Illustrated writer and NPR commentator passed away over the weekend. Deford was 78 years. Deford was well known in the sporting world for his storytelling.
