All-NBA List, George & Hayward Down $200 Mill, Von Miller Surprises Employees, A-Rod A Shark
BASKETBALL
The NBA released its list of All-NBA players on Thursday. Indiana Pacers Paul George and Utah Jazz Gordon Hayward were left off the list, potentially costing them a five-year $200 million contract extension. NBA media members select the top 15 players by position to fill the First, Second, and Third All-NBA teams. Each team consists of two guards, two forwards and one center. The NBA playoffs continue this weekend with the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals Friday 8:30 pm ET. The Cavs lead the series 1-0. The Golden State Warriors, who lead 2-0, Â will play Saturday 9:00 pm ET against the San Antonio Spurs.
FOOTBALL
Broncos’ superstar linebacker Von Miller surprised the more than 200 Bronco employees at their service awards ceremony on Thursday. It was the first time in 18 years a Bronco player joined the ceremony to thank the employees.
BASEBALL
Retired MVP Alex Rodriguez announced he will join the popular reality show Shark Tank as a guest judge in the fall. A-Rod said, “Ever since I was 10 years old, I sat on my father’s lap [and said] I have two dreams: [One was] to be a Major League Baseball player, but that usually never happens, and two was to be a CEO,”
