Cavs To Face Warriors In NBA Finals, Lonzo May Work Out W/76ers, Penguins And Predators Stanley Cup

The Cleveland Cavaliers eliminated the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Cavs were determined to close out this series. LeBron brought his “A” game and made history by surpassing Michael Jordan for most career points in the playoffs. Cleveland is now heading to the Finals to face the Golden State Warriors for an unprecedented third straight year. In NBA history no 2 teams have met in the Finals three years in a row. The rumor mill has Lonzo Ball, considered one of the top picks in the NBA draft, potentially working out with the Philadelphia 76ers before the June 22nd draft. The Boston Celtics have the first pick in the draft, the Los Angeles Lakers the second with Philly picking third. Lonzo has already declined to work out with Boston, and Lonzo’s controversial Dad, LaVar, stated he only wants his son to play for the Lakers, so it will be interesting to see how this develops.

It took two overtimes for the Pittsburgh Penguins to triumph over the Ottawa Senators in the playoffs. They will now face the Nashville Predators in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Penguins are the first team since 2008 to reach the Stanley Cup Finals in consecutive seasons. The best of 7 series will begin on Memorial Day.
