Philip Rivers Retires, Sarah Thomas Makes History As First Female SB Official, Tiger Woods 5th Back Surgery

FOOTBALL

Philip Rivers announced he’s retiring from the NFL after an incredibly successful 17-year career as a quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers (16 years) and Indianapolis Colts (1 year). The future Hall of Famer said, “I’m excited to go coach high school football. … What has helped me come to this (decision) is the growing desire to coach high school football. That’s what I’ve always wanted to do. It’s been growing. I can’t wait.”

Sarah Thomas will make history as the first female Super Bowl official at this year’s Championship. She will be the Down Judge at Super Bowl LV.
