Nets’ “Big 3” Make Debut In Loss To Cavs, Embiid Leads Sixers To Win, Fuller Makes History Again

BASKETBALL

Brooklyn’s “Big 3” played together for the first time Wednesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kevin Durant put up 38 points, Kyrie Irving added 37 points, and James Harden scored 21 points. The Nets didn’t have a defensive answer to the Cavs’ Collin Sexton though. Sexton scored 42 points in the Cavs 147-135 double-overtime win over the Nets.

In other NBA news, the Philadelphia 76ers Joel Embiid scored 42 points to lead the Sixers to victory over the Boston Celtics 117-109.

FOOTBALL

Sarah Fuller made history in November by becoming the first woman to play in a Power 5 football game (as a kicker at Vanderbilt), and as such was given the honor of introducing Vice President Kamala Harris during the inauguration.
