The Run for the Roses was overshadowed by an astonishing seven deaths the week leading up to and day of the Kentucky Derby. Thanks to an impressive 36 points from both Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, the Phoenix Suns evened the Western Conference semifinal with the Denver Nuggets 2-2. The most exciting play on social media, however, was when Nikola Jokić shoved a fan (who just happened to be the Suns new owner Mat Ishbia), while trying to extract the ball from Ishbia’s hands. Jokić was issued a technical foul, but many felt that was unfair. Nugget’s coach Mike Malone said, “He’s going to get the ball and some fan is holding onto the ball like he wants to be a part of the game. Just give the ball up, man.” When told the fan was the Suns new owner, Malone said, “I don’t give a s–t.”
