Harden’s Inspired Performance Gives Sixers The Win, Rangers Lose & Devils Move On, Serena Expecting Baby

The Philadelphia 76ers, playing without superstar Joel Embiid, took Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semis thanks to an inspired performance from James Harden. Harden put up 45 points (the most he’s ever scored in a postseason game). Embiid’s return is still uncertain.
HOCKEY
The New York Rangers lost game 7 (after being up 2-0 in the series) to the New Jersey Devils (the first time the Devils have won a series in 11 years).
OTHER
The Metropolitan Museum of Art annual charity gala, hosted by Anna Wintour, has featured more athletes in the last few years. While walking the red carpet at the Gala, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian announced they are expecting a baby. Congrats!
