Baseball Playoffs Update, LeBron’s Wheaties Box
BASEBALL
In the best of five American League Division Series, the Yankees lost Game 3 8-4 and are now down 2-1 against the Tampa Bay Rays. A crucial Game 4 is Thursday night. The Oakland A’s survived a 7-4 deficit to win 9-7 against the Houston Astros who are now up 2-1 in the series.
In the NLDS, the LA Dodgers held on with a 6-5 win over the San Diego Padres to take a 2-0 series lead, while the Atlanta Braves also secured a 2-0 lead over the Miami Marlins.
BASKETBALL
LeBron James replaces Serena Williams as the next Wheaties Athlete. His cereal box will be a bit different than other stars, however. Along with an image of LeBron dunking, there are pictures of children and staff from his I Promise School (which provides education for at-risk kids to get their high school diploma and free college education).
