Saban Tests Positive, 19 Gators Test Positive, Dodgers Make History With 11 Runs, Astros Still Alive

FOOTBALL

Alabama head coach Nick Saban tested positive for Covid-19 and will be self-isolating this week. Offensive coordinator Steve Sakisian is prepping the #2 ranked Crimson Tide for their big matchup against #3 Georgia on Sunday. The 69-year-old Saban said he wasn’t experiencing any symptoms and will take another test to see if he can coach this weekend.

In other college football news, the Florida Gators are dealing with a major outbreak of coronavirus cases. The Gators postponed their matchup against LSU this weekend after 19 players tested positive.

BASEBALL

The Los Angeles Dodgers came out swinging and made history in Game 3 against the Atlanta Braves. They scored 11 runs in just the first inning (the most runs ever scored in a single inning by a team in MLB playoff history) and went on to destroy the Braves 15-3. Atlanta leads the series 2-1 with game 4 at 8:08 pm ET tonight.

In the other playoff game, the Houston Astros kept their season alive by beating the Tampa Bay Rays 4-3. The Rays lead 3-1 with game 5 at 5:07 pm ET tonight.
