Hayward Scores 30 Thanks To Long Flight, Santa Anita Park Suspends Racing After 21 Horses Died

HORSE RACING
Santa Anita Park is suspending racing after reports 21 horses died since December 26th. The Park hired consultants to examine the conditions of the track and will report when they feel the track can open again. The San Felipe Handicap, a preparatory race for qualifying for the Kentucky Derby, was scheduled for this weekend.
