Curry Puts On Show In Warriors Win, Barkley Wants To Punch Draymond, LeBron Helps Cavs Win In OT

BASKETBALL

After more than a month rehabbing his knee and sitting out the first round of the playoffs, Steph Curry came off the bench last night and performed like the champion he is. He scored 28 points and 7 rebounds in only 27 minutes putting on a show to help Golden State grab the victory over the Pelicans. Warriors are now up 2-0 in the series.

The physical and verbal Draymond Green scored 20 points, 12 assists, and nine rebounds and was a major factor in the Warriors win. TNT analyst Charles Barkley is clearly not a fan, however. At halftime on his show, Inside the NBA, he was speaking about Draymond and said,  “I want to punch him in the face so bad”. After the game, Draymond responded by saying, “If you’re not going to punch me in my face when you see me, then shut up. It’s no different than somebody sitting behind a computer screen tweeting, ‘I’ll knock you out,’ and you never seen them in life. But he’s seen me a bunch of times, and he’ll see me again this year. Punch me in the face when you see me, or if not no one cares what you would have done. You old and it is what is. So if you ain’t going to punch me when you see me, then stop talking about it. Period.”

LeBron James recorded his 21st career playoff triple-double as the Cavaliers clawed their way back to beat the Raptors in overtime. The loss for the Raptors was particularly frustrating as they never trailed in regulation and were even up by 14 in the first quarter. Cleveland 113, Toronto 112. Cavs lead the series 1-0.
