Braxton Miller Might Transfer To Florida State, Manziel In Trouble Again, Suh Suspension Overturned

FOOTBALL

Northwestern v Ohio StatePotentially big news out of the college football world. There is speculation that Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller might transfer to Florida State as their starting QB next year. J.T. Barrett, who is the Ohio State starter but currently sidelined due to injury, is expected to fully recover and take over the role next fall. Miller doen’t want to play back up so may jump ship. Miller has already graduated from Ohio State so could easily transfer and start playing for Florida State immediately. Nothing has been officially decided yet, but this could be interesting.

In the NFL, the Cleveland Browns’ rookie quarterback, Johnny Manziel is in trouble with the team (and fans) again. Manziel has a torn hamstring and is required to show up at the team facilities for treatment. When he did not appear Saturday morning, team security went to his house and found that he had slept in. Reports said he threw a party the night before but Manziel denied that and insisted he only had three friends visiting from Texas. At least Manziel is taking responsibility. While speaking to reporters, he said,  “It’s about actions, it’s about being accountable instead of looking like a jackass.”

As reported on Tuesday, the Detroit Lions Ndamukong Suh’s suspension will n0w be overturned and he will play on Sunday in the Lions’ playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys. Suh will pay a $70,000 fine.
