Demaryius Thomas Dies From Possible Seizure, Pat McAfee Now Making $30 Mill, Vikings Hold On For Win

Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas died at his home Thursday evening. Thomas was only 33 years old, and according to reports, may have died from a seizure while he was in the shower. Thomas earned a Super Bowl ring and five straight Pro Bowls in his career. Peyton Manning released a statement on Thomas saying, “D.T. was a better person than he was a player, and he was a Hall of Fame player. That tells you how good of a person he was. He treated my kids like they were his own. He was there for every teammate’s charity event. …”

FanDuel announced they will be paying former NFL punter and current podcaster Pat McAfee  $30 million annually as a sponsor of his show.

In Thursday Night Football, the Minnesota Vikings managed to hold on for a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers after giving up 29-0 lead at halftime. Vikings 36, Steelers 28
