Madden’s Legacy, College Football Playoffs, NFL Changes Quarantine Rules, Becky Hammon Head Coach Aces

The legendary John Madden passed away this week at the age of 85. Madden built his legacy as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders from 1969-1978 then went on to be an iconic broadcaster and video game figurehead. One of Madden’s signature moments was when he introduced the Turducken as a Thanksgiving alternative. Watch this clip to see just one of the reasons Madden was so loved by all.

The NFL and NFLPA changed its quarantine requirements for those testing positive for COVID-19. Players asymptomatic will now only have to quarantine for five days rather than the previous requirement of 10 days.

BASKETBALL

Former six-time WNBA All-Star Becky Hammon is reportedly leaving her job as assistant with the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs to take a head coaching position with the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces. According to sources, she’ll be receiving a record-setting contract.
