Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit died from a heart attack after a workout at the Santa Anita racetrack. Medina Spirit, trained by Bob Buffett, tested positive for an anti-inflammatory drug after the Derby. The investigation has been ongoing, and the Derby winner was never disqualified.
