NFL Playoff Structure Could Change, Robinson Caught With 157 lbs Marijuana

FOOTBALL

The NFL’s playoff structure could change as early as the 2020 season. NFL Owners are meeting to rework the current collective bargaining agreement to expand the playoff field to seven teams from each conference (up from 6 teams per conference). They are also looking into increasing the number of games in the regular season to 17 games per team (up from 16) and shortening the preseason to three games per team.

Former Auburn University star and a second overall draft pick in 2014, NFL offensive tackle Greg Robinson, was caught with 157 pounds of marijuana and charged with conspiracy to possess marijuana with the intent to distribute. If convicted, Robinson could be sentenced for up to 20 years in federal prison. Robinson had signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2018, but according to reports, the team recently announced they did not intend to re-sign him.
