The Philadelphia 76ers let James Harden go. According to the report, “The 76ers made it clear throughout the process that the franchise did not see a long-term future with Harden.” The Clippers are his preferred destination, but the Knicks and the Heat are also possibilities.

New York Yankees pitcher Domingo Germán threw Major League Baseball’s 24th perfect game and its first since 2012.
GYMNASTICS
Simone Biles announced she will return to competition in August. Biles hasn’t competed since the Tokyo Olympics where she announced she was taking a break in order to focus on her mental health. Biles dominated gymnastics for almost 10 years and is tied with Shannon Miller for the most medals won by an American female.
FOOTBALL
The NFL suspended four players for violating the league’s gambling policy. The two Colts players, Rashod Berry and Demetrius Taylor, were subsequently suspended by the team.
