Harden, Embiid, Green Fouls, Warriors Cut Deficit, Suns Over Clippers, Brogdon 6th Man, Scherzer Won’t Appeal, Drake Loses Big On Parlays

BASKETBALL

The Philadelphia 76ers went up 3-0 against the Brooklyn Nets, but all anyone is talking about is James Harden’s controversial ejection from the game, and Joel Embiid’s flagrant 1 foul which looked very similar to Draymond Green’s suspension from two nights ago. If you watch all three, there’s clearly no consistency in the calls.

In other NBA news, the Warriors (without Draymond) beat the Sacramento Kings in a pivotal game 3 to bring the series deficit to 2-1. And, the Phoenix Suns narrowly beat the Clippers to take a 2-1 lead in the series.

Boston Celtics point guard Malcolm Brogdon was named Sixth Man of the Year. He’s one of only two players to win both the Sixth Man of the Year and Rookie of the Year.

BASEBALL

Matt Scherzer won’t be appealing his 10-game suspension for the use of “sticky stuff” on his glove because he felt the appeal wouldn’t be heard by a neutral arbitrator.

OTHER

Musician and massive sports enthusiast Drake, posted on Instagram that he was on a betting cold streak after losing two parlays for a combined $150,000. That was nothing compared to the $400,000 he lost in February for betting on Jake Paul to knock out Tommy Fury.
