Young, Stroud, Anderson Jr. Go Top 3 In NFL Draft, Will Levis Still Waiting, Lamar Gets Big Payday

To no one’s surprise the Carolina Panthers took Alabama quarterback Bryce Young with the number one pick in the 2023 NFL draft. The Houston Texans grabbed Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud with the number 2 pick and made some big trades to take Alabama defensive end Will Anderson Jr at #3.
After a Reddit post projected Will Levis could be picked #1 in the draft, the Kentucky quarterback awkwardly sat all night in the Green Room and will have to wait until round 2 to hear his name.
After a long drawn out process, Lamar Jackson finally got his big payday. The Baltimore Ravens made a deal with the quarterback for $260 million ($185 million guaranteed).
