UConn Wins National Championship, Sanogo Most Outstanding Player, Jim Nantz’s Called Last Final Four

Congrats to UConn for grabbing their fifth national championship in a decisive 76-59 victory over San Diego State. Adama Sanogo recorded his fourth double-double of the tournament and took home the Most Outstanding Player honors. The Huskies are only the seventh team to win the title after starting the season unranked and the first since 2011 (when UConn also won after starting unranked).
Legendary sportscaster Jim Nantz called his final March Madness game on Monday night. At 63 years old, Nantz spent 32 years broadcasting the NCAA Tournament. In his farewell, he affectionately said, “To you, to everybody in the college game, to the CBS family, my family, all the viewers: Thank you for being my friend.”
