NBA States All Teams Need To Stand For Anthem, Brady Throws Gronk The Lombardy Trophy

After Dallas Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban stated his team didn’t have to play the national anthem before home games, the NBA weighed in with a statement saying “With NBA teams now in the process of welcoming fans back into their arenas, all teams will play the national anthem in keeping with longstanding league policy.” Cuban did not object and put out his own statement saying, “the hope is that those who feel passionate about the anthem being played will be just as passionate in listening to those who do not feel it represents them.”

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers celebrated their big Super Bowl victory in style with a boat parade on the Hillsborough river. Tom Brady showed up in his $2 million dollar boat with Rob Gronkowski in the “party” boat right behind. The best scene from the day was Brady throwing the Lombardy Trophy to Gronk. Check out the throw….this sure looks like a fun party!
