Curry Will Play For Team USA, Daniel Jones Replaces Eli Manning

In an interview with ESPN, Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry said he’ll play for Team USA at the Olympic Games next summer in Tokyo. Curry has played on two gold medal-winning World Cup Championship teams but never played in the Olympics. Team USA has won three straight Olympic golds and will be looking to bring home their fourth.

The New York Giants’ sixth overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft, Daniel Jones, will take over as the starting quarterback leaving two-time Super Bowl winner Eli Manning on the bench. Giants’ coach Pat Shurmer explained “Ultimately, this is a move that I felt was best for this team at this time. I am very fond of Eli. His work ethic, his preparation, his football intelligence. All those attributes are as good as I have ever seen in a player. And Eli worked as hard as you could ask of anybody to get ready for this season. This move is more about Daniel moving forward than about Eli.â€
