Raptors Take Game 3, Curry 47 Points, Warriors Investor Ejected

BASKETBALL

The Toronto Raptors easily beat the Warriors on Wednesday night to take Game 3. Even with Steph Curry’s playoff best 47 points, Golden State had a difficult time rallying without their stars, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Kevin Looney on the court. Toronto now leads the series 2-1 with game 4 on Friday. Durant has been ruled out for Friday’s matchup, but Thompson is expected to be healthy enough to play. Raptors 123, Warriors 109

Golden State Warriors minority investor Mark Stevens caused a scene on Wednesday night in the 4th quarter of the game when he shoved Raptors Kyle Lowry after the guard fell into a row of seats. After the incident, Stevens was ejected from arena and the NBA subsequently announced, he will not be permitted to attend NBA games. The statement read,   “A team representative must be held to the highest possible standard, and the conduct of Golden State Warriors investor Mark Stevens last night was beyond unacceptable and has no place in our league. As the review of this matter continues, Mr. Stevens will not be permitted to attend NBA games.”
