Rivalry Weekend: Michigan Beats Ohio State, Alabama Over Auburn, Washington Beat Wash State, & Florida State Beat Florida, Commanders Fire Defensive Coordinator

FOOTBALL

In one of the greatest college rivalries, #3 Michigan beat #2 Ohio State 30-24 on Saturday in a game that came down to a Michigan interception in the last minute to seal the win. Michigan now ranks #2 in the new AP poll, while Ohio State slips to #6.

In other great rivalries, #8 Alabama beat Auburn 27-24 in the Iron Bowl in dramatic fashion by a game-winning touchdown with under 40 seconds left of play and down 20-24.

Rounding out the weekend, Washington beat rival Washington State, and Florida State beat Florida. #1 Georgia kept its top spot by beating Georgia Tech 31-23.

In NFL news, the Washington Commanders fired defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio just hours after they lost 45-10 to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had an amazing day throwing for four touchdowsn (and celebrating the last one by literally eating a turkey wing).
