Upsets In NCAA Tournament, No More Perfect Brackets On ESPN, Red Bull Team Wins Again

BASKETBALL

There were some exciting upsets over the weekend in the NCAA tournament. Number 16 Fairleigh Dickinson overcame #1 seed Purdue, becoming just the second #16 seed to upset a top seed. Their Cinderella story came to an end, however, on Sunday when #9 Florida Atlantic ousted FDU giving FAU their first Sweet 16 appearance in program history. FAU will take on #4 Tennessee on Thursday.

In another big upset, #1 seed Kansas (the defending national champion) lost to #8 Arkansas. And, Princeton continues their historic run after beating Missouri.  The Tigers will be appearing in their first Sweet 16 ever.

In the women’s bracket, No. 8 seed Ole Miss beat #1 seed Stanford leading to no more perfect women’s brackets on ESPN. On the men’s side, ESPN reported there were no more perfect brackets as of last Friday.

The Red Bull Team is clearly the ones to beat especially after teammates Sergio Pérez and Max Verstappen finished 1-2 on Sunday in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix (their second straight 1-2 finish of the season);
