Garoppolo To Raiders For $67.5 Mill, March Madness Begins, Alabama First Ever #1 Spot, Ja Morant Enters Counseling

The Las Vegas Raiders agreed to a deal with former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo for $67.5 million ($34 million guaranteed) for three-years.

BASKETBALL

The NCAA basketball tournament known as March Madness begins Tuesday with two play-in games and then two play-in games on Wednesday. The first and second rounds will be played from March 16th-19th. The Final Four will be on April 1st and the championship game on April 3rd.

Alabama earned their first ever #1 seed, while Houston, Kansas and Purdue also earned #1 spots.

In the NBA, Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (a two-time All Star and former Rookie of the Year) has entered counseling for his “pattern of questionable decision-making and behavior.” There is no timetable for his return.
