Deshaun Watson Traded To Browns, Saint Peter’s Cinderella Story, Sweet 16 Set

The Houston Texans traded controversial quarterback Deshaun Watson to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for some three first-round, a third, and a fourth-round draft picks. The Browns agreed to a record 5-year contract worth a guaranteed $230 million. Watson has been accused of sexual misconduct and is still facing 22 active lawsuits.

The biggest story out of the NCAA tournament is Saint Peter’s (from New Jersey City, NJ) becoming only the third #15 seed to reach the Sweet 16. The only other #15’s were Florida Gulf Coast in 2013 and Oral Roberts in 2021. The other big story is North Carolina upsetting #1 seed Baylor in the second round. Here is the rest of the Sweet 16 lineup:

West: No. 1 Gonzaga vs. No. 4 Arkansas; No. 2 Duke vs. No. 3 Texas Tech

East: No. 4 UCLA vs. No. 8 UNC; No. 3 Purdue vs. No. 15 Saint Peter’s

South: No. 2 Villanova vs. No. 11 Michigan; No. 1 Arizona vs. No. 5 Houston

Midwest: No. 1 Kansas vs. No. 4 Providence; No. 10 Miami vs. No. 11 Iowa State
