KC Scrapes Win Over Giants, Rams Trade For Von Miller, Winston & Henry Serious Injuries

The Kansas City Chiefs barely scraped together a win over an unimpressive New York Giants on Monday Night Football. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his offense will need to pull it together to survive against tougher teams. Kansas City 20, NY Giants 17.
In a blockbuster NFL move, the LA Rams traded two second and third-round draft picks for Denver Broncos Pro-Bowl pass-rusher Von Miller. Miller was selected with the second overall pick in the 2011 draft, and since then he has 8 Pro Bowl appearances and a 2011 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and Super Bowl 50 MVP. And, not to be forgotten, Von Miller had a memorable turn in season 22 of Dancing with the Stars.Â
Unfortunately, there have been some significant injuries in the last week. Saints quarterback Jameis Winston will miss the rest of the season due to a torn ACL, and the Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has a potentially season-ending broken foot.
