Elliott Back But Cowboys Lose, Earl Thomas Follows Cowboys To Locker Room, Browns Making History, NBA Christmas Games

FOOTBALL

The Dallas Cowboys were excited to have their star running back, Ezekiel Elliott, back on Sunday (after serving a six-game suspension for domestic violence), but it wasn’t enough for them to prepel their season to the playoffs. The Seawhaks exploited the Cowboys’ weaknesses with a 21-12 win.  Even though the game wasn’t interesting, the reporters  had a field day when after the game, the Seahawks’ safety Earl Thomas was overheard following the opposing team to their  locker room and telling the Cowboys coach,  “If y’all have a chance, come get me.” When asked why he would say that when his team is still in the playoff race, he said, I “didn’t literally mean, like, ‘Come get me now,’  I’m still in the prime of my career. I still want to be here. But when Seattle kicks me to the curb, ‘Please, Cowboys, come and get me.’ This is the only other place I’d rather be, if I get kicked to the curb.”

The Cleveland Browns are on their way to making history. With a loss against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, the Browns are now 0-15. If they lose again next weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers, they will go down as only the second team (after the 2008 Detroit Lions) to go 0-16. The only piece of good news is the Browns now have the #1 pick in the NFL draft.
