Aaron Rodgers Injured, Jets Win In OT, Adam “Pacman” Jones Arrested

The New York Jets just can’t catch a break. The team pulled out an exciting overtime win against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football, but their superstar quarterback, who was recruited in the offseason from the Green Bay Packers, suffered an Achilles injury in the first few minutes of his debut. The Jets defense rallied forcing four turnovers from Bills quarterback Josh Allen, but the win was bittersweet considering the team had high hopes in Aaron Rodgers to help deliver a long sought-after Championship. Former NFL cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested on alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, and terroristic threatening at the CVG Airport in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. The incidents occurred around 6:30 am boarding a flight that was taking Jones to the Monday Night Football game. According to Jones, “This happened at 6:30 a.m. in the morning which I paid for two seats myself to go to ‘Monday Night (Football).’ And to have a conversation with a stewardess, a man, about the charger not working, the plug wasn’t working. I said ‘alright, ‘can you move me somewhere else?’ It went from moving me to somewhere else to “oh, if we move you we have to stop the whole plane.”
