Astros 1st No-Hitter, Snyder May Sell Commanders, TMRW’s New Investors, Extreme Ironing

Four Houston Astros pitchers worked together to record the first World Series no-hitter since 1956 and the first postseason no-hitter since 2010. With the 5-0 win, the Astros tied the Series with the Phillies 2-2. Game 5 is Thursday night.

Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder is in talks to potentially sell the franchise. Snyder is under investigation for a 2009 incident of alleged sexual assault of a woman on his plane and financial impropriety.

TMRW Sports, the Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy sports company announced a group of new investors including Golden States Steph Curry, LA Angels Shohei Ohtani, tennis phenom Serena Williams, and F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

Extreme Ironing is actually a thing. According to Wikipedia,  “EI is an extreme sport in which people take ironing boards to remote locations and iron items of clothing.” It “combines the thrills of an extreme outdoor activity with the satisfaction of a well-pressed shirt.”
