The Raiders bounced back from a stressful week where their coach Jon Gruden resigned after  the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times published emails from him with homophobic, misogynistic, and racist comments. With interim head coach Rich Bisaccia and offensive coordinator Greg Olson calling the shots, the team pulled out an impressive 34-24 win.
