Thrilling CFP Games Sets Up #1 Michigan Vs #2 Washington In National Championship On Jan 8th

FOOTBALL

The College Football Playoff national championship is set after an incredible nail-biting night of football.

In the Rose Bowl,  the Michigan defense prevented Alabama from scoring in overtime with a play they call “Twister”. With the thrilling 27-20 win, the Wolverines will appear in the national championship for the first time in the College Football Playoff era. They last won a national championship in 1997.

Washington’s victory over Texas in the Sugar Bowl wasn’t clear until the final play of the game when Huskies cornerback Elijah Jackson batted down a pass to Texas’s wide receiver Adonai Mitchell. Washington 37, Texas 31.

#1 ranked Michigan will meet #2 ranked Washington on January 8th in Houston for the National Championship.
