Kaep Not Signed By Seahawks, Qatar Host To 2022 World Cup But No Diplomatic Ties
FOOTBALL
Former SF QB Colin Kaepernick is still not signed for next season. The Seattle Seahawks appeared interested in signing him as a backup to Russell Wilson, but now that’s no longer an option, as they recently signed backup former Denver Bronco Austin Davis. Seahawks coach Peter Carroll explained his decision not to sign Colin,  “he’s a starter in this league, and I can’t imagine that someone won’t give him a chance to play.”

In 2010 FIFA voted Qatar as the host of the 2022 World Cup, but they didn’t anticipate the recent political upheaval when 7 countries recently cut diplomatic ties with the country due to its support of terrorism. Five Arab States (Egypt, Bahrain, Yemen, and United Arab Emirates) accuse Qatar of “supporting terrorism and destabilizing the region”. No word yet on what FIFA plans to do.
