NBA Playoff Recap, Williams Coach Of Year, Jokic NBA MVP, Brady Signs Biggest Contract In Broadcasting History

BASKETBALL

The Golden State Warriors managed to pull ahead with just 45.7 seconds left to grab the win against the Memphis Grizzlies 101-98. The Warriors now have a 3-1 series lead. Warriors coach Steve Kerr had to sit the game out due to testing positive for COVID-19, and in an interesting twist, Mike Brown (who took over for Kerr) was hired on the same day to be the head coach of the Sacramento Kings.

The Boston Celtics beat the Milwaukee Bucks to even the series 2-2.

The Miami Heat trounced the Philadelphia 76ers in game 5 (120-85) to go up 3-2 in the series.

And, finally, the Dallas Mavericks face elimination (down 3-2) to the Phoenix Suns.

The NBA awards continue with the Sun’s Monty Williams named Coach of the Year. Reports have confirmed Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic will win the NBA MVP award. The award will be officially announced next week.

FOOTBALL
