GOLF

Phil Mickelson is in hot water after calling the Super Golf League “scary motherf—ers to get involved with.” In a comment caught off-mic, he continued to say, “We know they killed Jamal Khashoggi and have a horrible record on human rights. They execute people over there for being gay. Knowing all of this, why would I even consider it? Because this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reshape how the PGA Tour operates.” He has also said, the PGA Tour operates with “obnoxious greed.”

BASEBALL

Major League Baseball had set February 28th as the deadline for negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement. According to reports, the players and owners are still very far apart on a deal, which means regular-season games could be canceled.
