Big Ben Retires, Hackett New Head Coach Of Broncos, NBA All-Star Starters

FOOTBALL

It’s official! Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is retiring. The 39-year-old played 18 years for the Steelers, won two Super Bowls, and was selected six times to the Pro Bowl. “Big Ben” emotionally announced his retirement on Twitter.

In other NFL news, the Denver Broncos finalized a deal to hire Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett as their new head coach.

BASKETBALL

The NBA All-Star starters were announced. The only big surprise was Andrew Wiggins from the Golden State Warriors got a spot over (what some say) are more qualified players. Fans (50%), media (25%), and players (25%) make up the voting. The top vote-getters, LeBron James and Kevin Durant, will choose their teams for the game on February 20th after the All-Star reserves are announced next week.

West: LeBron James, Nikola Jokić, Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Ja Morant

East: Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Trae young
