Jets Destroyed, Brady Still The Goat, Ravens Edge Chiefs, Rodgers Looking To Comeback, Ted Lasso Wins Big

FOOTBALL

It was another tough day for the NJ Jets who got destroyed for the 11th straight time by the New England Patriots. This loss particularly hurt as their rookie quarterback Zach Wilson threw four interceptions in his home debut.

After throwing for five touchdowns in a 48-25 win over the Atlanta Falcons, Tom Brady made history again. He has now thrown for a league-leading nine touchdowns through the first two weeks of the regular season. And, of course, Brady’s buddy Rob Gronkowski caught two of the touchdowns.

Thankfully, the Sunday night game featuring the Baltimore Ravens vs the Kansas City Chiefs did not disappoint. The Ravens pulled out a 36-35 win thanks to inspired play by Ravens’ QB Lamar Jackson.

Monday night’s game will feature the Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers. Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers had one of his worst games last weekend, so look for him to bounce back tonight.

SOCCER

The soccer comedy Ted Lasso won big at the Emmy’s Sunday night, with wins for best comedy, best actor, best supporting actor and best supporting actress.
