Washington Football Team Pulls Out Win Over Giants, Women’s Soccer Gets Equal Pay

The Washington Football team and its backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke pulled out a close win over the New York Giants in Thursday night football thanks to an offsides penalty leading to a 43-yard field goal, which came minutes after a missed 48-yard field goal.

After many years of the women’s national team suing for equal pay, the US Soccer Federation announced it will now offer the same contracts to the men’s and women’s teams.
