Bucks Defeat Suns For NBA Title, Giannis Unanimous MVP, USA Soccer Win Streak Ends, Brisbane To Host Olympics In 2032

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns 105-98 and grabbed their first NBA title since 1971 when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson headlined the team. Unanimous NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo had the performance of his career scoring 50 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 blocks.

OLYMPICS

The Olympic opening ceremony officially kicks off on Friday, but softball and women’s soccer have already begun. In a stunner, Sweden overwhelmed USA soccer with a 3-0 win, ending the Americans’ 44-matches over 2 years unbeaten streak. In softball, Team USA beat Italy 2-0.

With no other competitors waiting in the wings, Brisbane, Australia was picked to host the 2032 Olympics.
