Jimmy Kimmel and SoFi Stadium teamed up for official naming rights for the LA Bowl.

BASKETBALL

LaMelo Ball won the NBA Rookie of the Year award.

The Atlanta Hawks miraculously came back from a 26-point deficit to win Game 5 over the Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Trae Young scored 39 points, and the Hawks are now up 3-2 in the series.

In the Western Conference semifinals, the LA Clippers (without Kawhi Leonard) took Game 5 from the Utah Jazz. The Clippers are up 3-2 in the series

SOCCER

Cristiano Ronaldo caused the market cap of Coca-Cola to drop $4 billion after he removed two bottles of coke from a podium before his press conference. Ronaldo then held up a water bottle and said “Agua”.  Tom Brady commented saying athletes drink water not soda.
