Lakers Eliminated, LeBron Will Play For Tune Squad, Nuggets Beat Trail Blazers And Move On

LeBron James and the LA Lakers lost Game 6 to the Phoenix Suns and have been eliminated from the first round of the playoffs, marking the first time LeBron has been eliminated in the first round (and only the second time since 2010 that King James won’t be playing in an NBA Finals). Devin Booker was the star of the night, scoring 47 points in the Suns’ big win.
After the game, LeBron was asked if he’ll now consider playing in the Olympics and he joked, “Nah, I think I’m gonna play for the Tune Squad this summer instead of the Olympics. That’s my focus on, on trying to beat the MonStars, or the Goon Squad I guess they’re called now. Didn’t have much success versus Suns, so now I’m giving my attention to the Goon Squad in July. Imma let the ankle rest for a month… Hope we see y’all at the match.â€
In another game 6, the Denver Nuggets beat the Portland Trail Blazers and will move on to play the Phoenix Suns in the semis.
