MNF Game For Ages, Safety Costs Better $40K

FOOTBALL

This week’s Monday Night Football matchup featured a game for the ages. It had it all: nine rushing touchdowns, turnovers, trick plays, missed field goals, missed extra points, cramps, and a wild last play which ruined some better’s point spread.

Thanks to an unforgettable night from Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson (who racked up the most rushing yards by a quarterback in Monday Night Football history), the Ravens pulled out a 47-42 win. With seconds running out, the Browns valiantly tried to salvage the game with a series of laterals that ended up resulting in a safety costing one better to lose $40,000.
