Greatest Golf Shot Ever, Tiger’s Champions Dinner, SEC Matchup Postponed

GOLF

It’s a tradition on the 16th hole of the Masters during practice rounds to skip your shot on the water. When Jon Rahm did this on Tuesday (his birthday), he made a remarkable hole in one. Click here for one of the greatest golf shots ever.

The Masters officially begins on Thursday. One of the traditions during Masters’ week is the Champions Dinner. The winner of the previous year’s tournament gets to choose the meal. Tiger Woods is the current champion so had the honor of picking the menu. He chose the Augusta sushi roll (with shrimp and tuna), steak and chicken fajitas, and flan and churros for dessert. It was all complimented by Shafer Chardonnay and Cabernet.

The highly anticipated SEC matchup between #1 ranked Alabama and defending champion LSU will be postponed because of COVID-19 issues. Texas A&M and Tennessee will also be postponed. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey stated, “While it is unfortunate to have multiple postponements in the same week, we began the season with the understanding interruptions to the schedule were possible and we have remained focused throughout the season on the health of everyone around our programs.”
