Mahomes Monstrous Contract, DeSean Jackson’s Anti-Semitic Social Media Posts

The Kansas City Chiefs signed Super Bowl-winning quarterback (and MVP) Patrick Mahomes to a monstrous 10-year contract extension worth up to $503 million, with an injury guarantee of $141.8 million. Mahomes will make an average salary of $45 million per year dwarfing Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s annual average of $35 million per year. Mahomes’s contract is the richest contract in the history of pro sports.
Philadelphia Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson posted anti-Semitic messages on social media with quotes attributed to Adolf Hitler and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. The quote attributed to Hitler read, “[white Jews] will blackmail America. [They] will extort America, their plan for world domination won’t work if the Negroes know who they were.” He also expressed his admiration for Louis Farrakhan, who is widely known as an anti-Semite. The Eagles owner and general manager are both Jewish, but the team has not publicly commented on the posts.
