Raiders Triumph Over Chargers, Raiders’ Fan Trending, Brown Profanity-Laced Tweet

FOOTBALL

The Oakland Raiders hosted what will likely be their final primetime game at Oakland Coliseum against their AFC West rival, the Los Angeles Chargers.  With just 1:02 left to play, Raiders’ running back Josh Jacobs scored, giving the Raiders a dramatic 26-24 victory at home. Of course, it didn’t help that LA Chargers’ QB Philip Rivers had the worst game of the season throwing three interceptions. One particular Raiders’ fan has been trending on social media when he was caught on camera with a sign reading, “I missed my court date to see this game!”

Troubled wide receiver Antonio Brown is back in the news. Next week, he is scheduled to meet with the NFL to discuss allegations of sexual assault. Instead of laying low and just trying to present his case, he posted a profanity-laced tweet on social media saying, “Imagine conforming to a system giving it a 100 percent to see them treat me like this is unfairly! Making money off my sweat and blood F— the @nfl I’ll never play in that s— treat black people the worse! Clear my name and go f— your self.” He slightly recanted later in the day stating “he was ‘very frustrated’ and ‘determine’ to return to the NFL.”
